“Escucha bien: Los que te hicieron daño en el pasado no pueden seguir haciéndotelo a menos que te aferres al dolor por medio del resentimiento.”

Rick Warren

“We bring God glory by worshiping him. Worship is our first responsibility to God. We worship God by enjoying him.”

Rick Warren

“Stop trying, & start trusting.”

Rick Warren

“La Biblia dice: «Así que no nos fijamos en lo visible sino en lo invisible, ya que lo que se ve es pasajero, mientras que lo que no se ve es eterno».”

Rick Warren

“The purpose of influence is to "speak up for those who have no influence." (Pr.31:8) It's not about you.”

Rick Warren

“Fuiste creado por Dios y para Dios, y hasta que lo entiendas, tu vida no tendrá ningún sentido. Solo en él encontramos nuestro origen, nuestra identidad, nuestro sentido, nuestro propósito, nuestro significado y nuestro destino.”

Rick Warren

“Relationships are always worth restoring.”

Rick Warren

“Much of the conflict occurring in congregations is caused when a church calls a pastor whose gifts and passion do not match what the church has been in the past.”

Rick Warren

“Prayer lets you speak to God; meditation lets God speak to you. Both are essential to becoming a friend of God.”

Rick Warren

“Your birth was no mistake or mishap, and your life is no fluke of nature. Your parents may not have planned you, but God did. He was not at all surprised by your birth. In fact, he expected it.”

Rick Warren

“How Does What We Eat Affect the Planet? The things you put on your fork have the power to affect not only your health, but also agricultural practices, climate change, and even our economy. One church member told us about Nigerian farmers he met who were given seed by a large agricultural company at a cheaper price than their regular seed, but then the seeds from that crop couldn’t be replanted. (They are designed that way.) The farmers then were forced to buy the seed from the same company at a higher price the next year and eventually couldn’t afford to farm. This pattern of industrial agricultural practices not only has impacted the quality of the food you eat, but also creates hunger in little children in Africa. When you stop buying industrial food, it has an enormous ripple effect. The power of your fork can change the world. When it comes to our health and the health of the planet, we have a lot more to learn and study, but we don’t need all the answers in order to take action. We can each make choices to buy more whole foods, sustainably raised animals, locally grown produce, and more. Just as we’ve learned that certain fats are good for us and others are destructive, we can learn what agricultural and food practices are best for us too.”

Rick Warren

“You are as close to God as you choose to be. ”

Rick Warren

“Jesus specialized in menial tasks that everyone else tried to avoid: washing feet, helping children, fixing breakfast, and serving lepers. Nothing was beneath him, because he came to serve. It wasn’t in spite of his greatness that he did these things, but because of it, and he expects us to follow his example.”

Rick Warren

“God determines greatness by how many people you serve, not how many people serve you.”

Rick Warren

“The fact is, it is selfish for a church to not want to grow. A church that says, “We’ve got enough people, we’ve got a nice fellowship. Our church is just the right size. We just need to focus on the members we already have.” That church is, in reality, actually saying, “The rest of the world can go to hell. We don’t care.”
