A woman met one of her classmates after 20 long years. After exchanging pleasantries, the first woman told the other that she has 4 children, half of them female. At this, the other woman smiled and replied, even half of her children too are female. However, she has 3 children. How is this possible?
The captain of a ship was telling this interesting story: "We traveled the sea far and wide. At one time, two of my sailors were standing on opposite sides of the ship. One was looking west and the other one east. And at the same time, they could see each other clearly."
How can that be possible?
The marines were standing back against the sides of the ship so they were looking at each other. It does not matter where the ship is (of course it does not apply to the North and South Pole).
Tim came second in Math. When his mother asked him how much he had scored, he answered that he got the sum of the first 9 even numbers. His mother immediately worked out the answer. How much had he scored in Math?
